Since opening its doors Christmas eve of 2003, à la mode has been receiving great press from the news, other retailers and the community. We have been called Annapolis’s Best Lingerie Shop, an Emerging Business of the Year, and a strong supporter of the community, local arts, and breast cancer programs.  The Capital Gazette stated “à la mode serves up a recipe for romance”, but please come in and check it out for yourself. Let us support you!

Sarah Platt, a marketing associate for the lingerie boutique a la mode, shows off the overflowing donation bin of gently used bras. The retailer is giving back to women of Annapolis by providing needy residents at the Light House shelter with the secondhand bras and its own last-season inventory.

Lori Ferrogine and Sarah Platt, from a la mode, attended the breast cancer rally in Annapolis, thanking Govenor O’Malley for not cutting funding for the Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program.  They, along with members of the American Cancer Society and Susan G.
